Getting to Tokyo Tower from nearby stations

When you emerge aboveground from the Akabanebashi exit of "Akabanebashi" Station on the Toei Oedo Line, You will be able to see Tokyo Tower beyond the wide road. First, cross the pedestrian crossing in front of you.

When you have finished crossing it, continue to cross the pedestrian crossing on your right. And go to the side where the gas station is.

In this manner, go straight on the sidewalk with the gas station on your left.

On the way, there will be a slope on the left as shown but continue to walk past it. (You can reach even if you go up the slope.)

As you continue to go straight with the trees of a park on your left, you will approach an intersection, so Turn left on the sidewalk. (A small neighborhood police station is on the other side of the pedestrian crossing)

Proceed a little farther to reach Tokyo Tower.

Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Kamiyacho Station

When you come out of Exit 1 of “Kamiyacho” Station on the Hibiya Line of the Tokyo Metro, face left and go straight on the sidewalk. At this point, you will still not be able to see Tokyo Tower, but before long, you will be able to see it.

As you continue going straight, you will see a pedestrian bridge and a convenience store. Walk past them and continue to go straight.

Soon, you will approach an intersection. At that point, you should already be able to see Tokyo Tower. Cross the pedestrian crossing and proceed with the road on your left.

There is a brick sidewalk that stretches on. Go straight on this path for a while to reach the ticket counter of the Tokyo Tower.

When you emerge aboveground from Exit A1 of “Onarimon” Station on the Toei Mita Line, there will be a wide road in front of you. Turn to face right and go straight for a while.

With the Tokyo Prince Hotel on your right, cross this pedestrian crossing and continue to go straight.

The café terrace will come into view on your right. Right about the time you walk past it…

When you emerge aboveground from Exit A4 of “Shibakoen” Station on the Toei Mita Line, There will be a wide road in front of you. Turn to face left and go straight for a while.

Continue walking to have the tranquil Shiba Park, temple gate, and so on come into view on your left. Continue to go straight on this path while looking at them.

After a while, you will come to the large gate of Zojoji Temple. Continue on a little farther with this gate on your left to find a lane on that same left. Turn left here.

Continue on to have Zojoji’s “Daimon” (large front gate) come into view. Walk past it on one side and continue to go straight. You can already see Tokyo Tower.

And go straight just a little farther with the temple gate on your left to find this narrow path. Go straight again.

Go out through the North Exit at JR Hamamatsucho Station (the Yamanote Line and Keihin-Tohoku Line). You will be able to see Tokyo Tower in front of you, and the path to it is almost straight and takes about 15 minutes. With the World Trade Center building on your left, continue to go straight.

Cross the large intersection and continue to go straight.

Continue on to have Zojoji’s “Daimon” (large front gate) come into view. Walk past it and continue to go straight.

You will soon reach Zojoji, so cross this pedestrian crossing
