The "Great Shinto Shrine of the Tower" of ancient and honorable lineage

Located on the second floor of the Main Deck, the Great Shinto Shrine of the Tower was built in 1977 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the company operating Tokyo Tower, to bring safety and health to our visitors and customers. The shrine draws its lineage from the Grand Shrine of Ise, and receives many visitors throughout the year. Enshrined within this shrine is the sun goddess, Amaterasu Omikami. In particular, it is said to bring good luck with relationships and academic success.

Seal stamp design, and where to get yours

Seal stamps are available at "OFFICIAL SHOP THE SKY," located on the second floor of the Main Deck. After paying your respects at the Great Shinto Shrine of the Tower, ask a shop employee for help. The cost is 300 yen per seal stamp.

Wooden votive tablets and charms are also available at the Great Shinto Shrine of the Tower. Often described as being located at the highest altitude in the 23 wards of Tokyo, this shrine brings you closer than any other to the heavens.

Important notes

・In order to receive a seal stamp, you must first visit the "Great Shinto Shrine of the Tower" on the second floor of the Main Deck.

・A separate fee of 300 yen will be charged, in addition to the Main Deck ticket fee.

・You will receive you seal stamp already printed on paper. We cannot print the seal stamp in a separate seal stamp book.

・Seal stamps are 14.5 cm long by 10 cm wide.

・There is no need to reserve in advance to receive your seal stamp.

・Some designs may not be available, or available only for a limited time.
